There are people who I see, have multiple boyfriends/girlfriends in the past and still are so young. And they happen to ‘love’ all of them! I really wish these people would take a break from jumping from partner to partner and just stay single and actually appreciate how rare love really is. Seriously, the reason why I have never had a boyfriend and don’t intend to, is because I want to be in a relationship with someone who I know I love and with someone I know loves me. I don’t want to be like some girls who get into a relationship so many times for the sake of it, or those girls who get into a relationship just to have someone there. I don’t see the point of that, guys have feelings like girls do and if anyone, for that matter, jumps into relationships for pathetic and useless reasons, you’re wasting someone else’s time. Someone who could really care about you. Constantly, when people ask me for advice on their own relationships, I have to pressure them to answer honestly about whether they truly love the person. Most of the time, they don’t. Most of the time, they are in love with the idea of love…in love with the idea of being someone’s girlfriend/boyfriend. 

Please, don’t get into relationships too often. Especially when you are young. If you are teenagers, be extremely careful with who you get involved with. Not because of dangers but because, there is a very large chance you won’t spend your life with that person and they may not be the one. So if you want to be in a relationship, choose to be in one with someone you love and someone you are sure will love you. Because at this age, majority of relationships end in heartbreak. Choose your partners wisely and really think, do you really love this person? 

If you are older, if you are an adult. Remember that these are the times where you actually search for the one, your soul-mate. This is the time where you can’t afford to fool around, you need to be serious and think about serious relationships. 

Nobody likes to heartbroken or used, so if you are not in love with someone or if you are unsure, don’t rush into it. They could be in love with you and you could be the heartbreaker. Respect love. Be with someone who is there for you, someone who you are there for.
